Before-you-travel checklist

Before moving on, check

• AI health check shows 34/34 passed
• The provider's dashboard confirms the server won't expire during the trip (or auto-renew is on)
• Enough traffic left this month
• Computer: Clash Verge Rev is up to date, subscription updated, Rule mode + Tun Mode
• Computer: ip.net.coffee/claude shows the server IP; DNS and WebRTC not in China
• Phone: the app imported the subscription and the exit IP is the server when connected
• Both nodes (Reality and TLS) tested by switching manually
• Tested once on mobile data (not Wi-Fi)
• The AI tools and apps you need are downloaded and logged in
• Your Google account has a passkey or authenticator, and backup codes are with you (see “Secure your Google account”)
• The login-info file is backed up somewhere safe (encrypted USB stick or password manager), not in a chat app
• ssh your-name on your computer logs in to the server (in case it needs fixing)
• Family members' devices are set up and tested too
